Staying at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown was a mixed bag for me. On the bright side, the location is excellent and the rooms are nicely renovated. However, the service left much to be desired, especially during my event, which was a hassle to coordinate. Overall, I appreciated the modern touches and facilities, but a smoother experience would have made for a better stay.
Rooms
8.0
My room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The minimalist design gave me a nice space to work, plus the oversized TV was a bonus for watching games.
Service
5.0
My experience with staff was very mixed. While some were friendly and accommodating, others seemed overwhelmed and unhelpful, especially during my event setup. It felt like my smaller group didn't get the attention we needed.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is a huge perk—super close to restaurants, and only a short ride from the airport. It made exploring downtown Phoenix really convenient.
Dining
7.0
I didn’t dine at the on-site restaurant much, but the lounge offered decent options. Breakfast was solid, though I wish the hot items were better prepared. The lounge atmosphere was lively, and the charcuterie board was nice for a snack.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities like the pool and gym were nice, although I didn’t get to use them much. The lobby had a great vibe for grabbing a drink and relaxing, but I wish the food selection was more enticing.

Unfortunately, the service was hit-or-miss. I encountered some unfriendly staff members, but there were a few who were genuinely helpful, which made the situation a bit better.
Location
8.0
The location was ideal, right next to the conference center and within walking distance to some excellent dining options. This made it very convenient for my trip.

The dining experience could use improvement. some food items were dried out, which was disappointing, but I appreciated the variety they offered.

I had a fantastic trip at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown. The customer service exceeded my expectations, with helpful staff throughout my stay. The hotel's location was convenient for exploring downtown and nearby restaurants. Though I faced a couple of wait times for my room at check-in, the overall experience was positive, and I would happily return.
Rooms

My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a great city view. However, I did miss having bedside charging points.
Service

Most of the staff were friendly and efficient, but my check-in experience was less than ideal as I faced delays that could have been avoided.
Location

I enjoyed a good breakfast buffet with decent choices, though I hoped for a bit more variety.

6.4/10
I stayed at Sheraton Phoenix Downtown for a convention, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The hotel is clean and modern, with nice views from my room, but there were some notable downsides. The late-night snack options were practically non-existent, and I faced issues with parking due to an event. While the staff was friendly, some amenities and services left much to be desired.
Rooms
6.0
My room was clean and modern, but the layout had some oddities—like the bathroom mirror design and desk placement. The AC was a bit quirky as well, which made for some discomfort at times.
Service
7.0
The service from staff was friendly and accommodating, but I had some frustrations when they couldn't provide me with options for snacks late at night. They did handle my housekeeping concerns well, though.
Location
6.0
The location is great, close to restaurants and bars, but during my stay, parking was a real hassle due to a convention. It would have been nice to know in advance about the event impacting parking.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited, especially at night. While the lunch deal at the restaurant was good, I found the snack options very disappointing after hours. Room service was reasonably priced, but it felt excessive for a light snack.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent, but the club lounge access was denied during my stay, which I found frustrating as a Gold member. The pool area was nice, but it closed too early for my taste.

My stay at Sheraton Phoenix Downtown had its ups and downs. While the check-in process was friendly and the location was convenient, I faced issues with cleanliness and service during my two-night visit. The remodeled room was a nice touch, but the attention to detail fell short in several areas, making me rethink my plans for future visits.
Rooms
6.0
The king-size bed was comfortable, and the room was modern, but I found dirt on surfaces and masking tape on the walls, indicating a lack of attention in the remodel.
Service
5.0
Check-in was smooth, but the maintenance issues, like the broken AC and delayed toiletries, showed weaknesses in service. I also encountered a disconcerting interaction with a staff member in the gift shop.
Location
8.0
The hotel's proximity to downtown and Chase Field made it easy to explore the area and enjoy nearby restaurants, which was definitely a plus for my trip.
Dining
7.0
I appreciated the on-site restaurant, District D, which offered great food, including perfectly cooked steak and pork chops, though the breakfast options were not up to full-service standards.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel provided a nice pool and exercise facilities, although the parking situation was inconvenient and added unnecessary stress to my stay.
